Greetings earthlings!
Welcome to our family page. We're so glad you stopped by.
Jon and I were married in the summer of 2003. I can't believe it's almost 8 years! Time goes by so fast when you're having fun.
In January 2009 our first child was born! She has recently nicknamed herself MeMe, so that's what we'll call her here, hehe. She is such a bright spot in our lives. Her smile and laugh melt our hearts, and we are finding that our love for her grows daily.
2011 brought a lot of changes for us. In January Jon left the Winston-Salem rescue mission. Since then he has been searching for a new job. He was out of work for about a month and a half, but God provided for us from a variety of sources and we have not fallen behind in any of our bills! It's been wonderful learning to trust in Him and not in ourselves. Jon has just started a new job, and we are again praising God for His provision.
Please pray for us as we seek God’s wisdom and guidance for our future plans. Jon is still working on finishing his undergrad work through correspondence at Tyndale Theological Seminary & Biblical Institute. We are also anxiously anticipating the arrival of our second daughter, who we'll call Harmy. She is due in roughly 2 1/2 weeks and we are SOOOO excited!

"I am a true New England gal, born and raised in the state of Maine! I love the Ocean. The way it sounds, smells, and feels! I also enjoy cold weather, reading, writing, blogging and long walks on cool days. Although I did finish a degree in Secondary English Education, I prefer being a stay-home-mom. This is the best job in the world! Jon and I have two amazing daughters (pictured below). I'm also in the process of losing 155 pounds. If you want to read more about my weight loss journey, click the link above in the navbar." Love Rie From MeMe
*giggle, "HELLO EVERYONE!! I am a feisty silly 3 year old who likes to keep my Mommy and Daddy on their toes! I am a total girl. Some of my favorite things are flowers, shoes, clothes, and 'helping' Mommy in the kitchen! But my absolute favorite things are playing outside and going to church! I want to do everything myself, and I really really like telling other people what to do! I love being a big sister, but sometimes Harmy gets all up in my space!"

These 2 lovely pups have been with us since 2006, but we love them anyway. Scamp is a big plodding male, and Fayer is a sprightly female. They both enjoy chasing squirrels, rabbits, birds, and just about any other critter that has the misfortune to cross their paths. But since we moved, they currently reside in the basement until we can fence in the back yard!
